In a small Indian Village Mandwa, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan ) is taught about the path of fire, Agneepath, by his father. His life is shattered completeley when the evil drug lord Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father to death, Vijay leaves for Mumbai with his pregnant mother, and takes an oath that he will return back to Mandwa and bring back the glory of his fathers name and take revenge against Kancha Cheena. In Mumbai, Vijay is taken under the wings of the cities drug lord Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor). From here on it is a journey of revenge where he makes and breaks many relationships only to get closer to his aim. Vijay finds support in his only friend Kaali (Priyanka Chopra), who stands by him at every moment of his life. Fifteen years later, his hatred for Kancha takes him back to Mandwa where life comes full circle. Mallika is playing the wife of Sanjay Dutt in this comdey, which is a sefsquel to 2007 film Dhamaal. A suspense thriller by Shivam Nair’s and will star Naseeruddin Shah , Om Puri, Boman Iraani, Paresh Rawal, Tara Sharma and Neha Dhupia . Then it will action packed movie Kidnap (2008) directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and starring Sanjay Dutt , Minissha Lamba , Vidya Malvade, Rahul Dev and Imran Khan . The Indian festive season of Diwali will bring the return of a prior successful movie, Golmaal Fun Unlimited (2006) , with a sequal called Golmaal Returns (2008) starring Ajay Devgan , Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kareena Kapoor , Celina Jaitley , Amrita Arora and Anjana Sukhani under the direction of Rohit Shetty. Sanjay Dutt has been granted bail by the Supreme Court and should be released from the Pune jail within the next couple of days. Sanjay was given a six year jail term after being convicted in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced to six years imprisonment by a special TADA court for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts. He was convicted under the Arms Act and was taken into custody. He has already served 16 months in jail back in 1994.
