Madhuri Dixit To Star In Satte Pe Satta Remake

One of the favorite actress from Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit will be making a Bollywood comeback with her role in the remake of Satte Pe Satta Remake (2011) starring opposite Sanjay Dutt . Madhuri will play the role played by Hema Malini in the original. Sanjay Dutt will take over Amitabh Bachchan’s role. This will also reunite the Khalnayak couple.

The Bachchan’s are in preparation for their world tour called Unforgettable Tour, . The tour is set to being on July 18, 2008 in Toronto followed by performances at Trinidad, Tobago, Houston, Atlantic City, New York, Vancouver, and London. Currently Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan are rehearsing the performances at a hall in Juhu, Mumbai . Aishwarya will be performaing the hit ‘Dola re..’ number from Devdas (2002) with Madhuri Dixit, . The Bachchan family trio will also be performing the famous song ‘Kajra re’ from the hit movie Bunty Aur Babli (2005) . Others joining the tour include Bollywood actors Preity Zinta, , Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh , choreographer Shiamak Davar and music duo of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani .

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit , Saif Ali Khan , and Shahid Kapoor have joined the Bachchan’s international tour named Unforgettables is slated for July and August 2008. The tour will feature some of the biggest star from Bollywood which includes Amitabh Bachchan , son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter in law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , Ritesh Deshmukh , Bipasha Basu and Akshay Kumar .

Padma Vibhushan Awarded

Sachin Tendulkar (cricket) and Viswanathan Anand (Indian chess grandmaster) will be awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second highest civilian award.
Padma Bhushan will be awarded to Baichung Bhutia (ace footballer), Bula Chowdhury (swimmer), Meghnad Desai (British economist), Sunita Williams (NASA astronaut), and Dominique Lapierre (French author).
Padma Shri will be awarded to NDTV’s Managing Editor, Barkha Dutt, NDTV’s Vinod Dua, CNN-IBN Editor-in-chief, Rajdeep Sardesai (Indian political commentator and News Presenter), Madhuri Dixit (Indian Film Actress), Tom Alter and Manoj Night Shyamalan (writer-director).
