In a small Indian Village Mandwa, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan ) is taught about the path of fire, Agneepath, by his father. His life is shattered completeley when the evil drug lord Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father to death, Vijay leaves for Mumbai with his pregnant mother, and takes an oath that he will return back to Mandwa and bring back the glory of his fathers name and take revenge against Kancha Cheena. In Mumbai, Vijay is taken under the wings of the cities drug lord Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor). From here on it is a journey of revenge where he makes and breaks many relationships only to get closer to his aim. Vijay finds support in his only friend Kaali (Priyanka Chopra), who stands by him at every moment of his life. Fifteen years later, his hatred for Kancha takes him back to Mandwa where life comes full circle. Rumors have it that director Zoya Akhtar has shot a steamy kissing scene between Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif for their upcoming movie Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara (2010) . The scene is said to be about two minutes long which would make it longest lip lock in Bollywood so far. This is the first time the Katrina will be paired opposite Hrithik. This will the first on screen kissing scene for Katrian while, Hrithik has already kissed Aishwarya Rai in movie Dhoom 2, Back In Action (2006) and Barbara Mori in movie Kites (2009) This is the 2nd movie that will be directed by Zoya after her debut film Luck by Chance (2008) . The film will also star her brother Farhan Akhtar , along with Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin. The movie has been shot in Spain.

Shahrukh Khan ‘s wax figure was the first one for a Bollywood star in the Madame Tussauds in Los Angeles.

Hrithik Roshan is currently in the US shooting for his next movie, Kites (2009). The shooting is currently being finished up in Las Vegas, USA and then will wrap up in LA. The movie also stars Kangna Ranaut opposite Hrithik and is being directed by Anurag Basu. Kangna has previously worked with Anurag during Gangster and Metro and came with high recommendation to the Roshans for this movie. During the shoot, Hrithik filmed a sensuous scene with Mori for which Hrithik asked his dad to Rakesh Roshan to leave the set for the take.
