Acer To Buy Gateway

US computer maker Gateway to be acquired by Taiwan personal computer supplier, Acer, for $710 million. This will put Acer past the Lenovo Group Ltd. as the world’s third-biggest PC maker.

Google soon to lauch the gPhone?

Google maybe close to the launch of it’s phone service. The mobile phone is called gPhone and is awaiting final ok and carrier agreement before it launch. Recently there was news that Google may be interested in bidding on spectrum. Lets see if Google will lauch the gPhone?

Hurricane Dean is heading towards Tulum, Mexico

Hurricane Dean is heading towards Tulum, Mexico which has forced many tourists to flee the vacation location and beaches of the Mayan Riviera. Petroleos de Mexico, a Mexico’s state oil company, will be evacuating more then 14,000 offshore workers. Cancun’s international airport was busy with many tourists waiting to get flights to head out.

Google is buying YouTube for $1.65 billion

Google, internet search leader, is buying YouTube for $1.65 billion in a all-stock deal. This will give Google access to another growing market for publishing their ads. YouTube was stared by Chad Hurley in his garage in February 2005 and has grown to shows more than 100 million video clips per day.

Nintendo Wii console will be available November 19th in the U.S.
