The Washington Redskins select Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III as the number two pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Robert Griffin will be named as the starter, even if he thinks he’ll have to beat out Rex Grossman.

The NBA is not Letting Chris Paul go to LA

The NBA league is not allowing the Lakers to complete a trade that would give them all star Point Guard Chris Paul, but it will cost them two valuable big men Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. David Stern killed the deal this morning, but sources say that both teams have resumed talks. This is a blockbuster trade and it involves many all star players so let’s what has to say later tonight or tomorrow.

Packers Stunned by the Chiefs

12/19/2011:
The Packers’ hopes for an undefeated football season come to an end as the Chiefs, led by interim Romeo Crennel shockingly beat the Pack 14-19. Nothing was perfect for the perfectionists throughout the game as Kyle Orton out played elite QB Aaron Rodgers throwing for 299 yards while spreading it around to 10 different receivers. Rodgers was horrendous, 17 of 35 for 235 yards and one touchdown, he also ran for one as well. The Chiefs weak front 7 battered Aaron Rodgers, he was sacked 4 times, 3 of which were by LB Tamba Hali, who has more than half of the teams sacks. It was ironic that the Colts (1-13) won for the first time in the season against the Tennessee Titans.

Mike Shanahan Coach For Washington Redskins

01/06/2010:
The Washington Redskins season ended on Sunday night after a 4th quater loss to the San Diego Chargers 23 to 20 in a season filled with injuries and last minute losses. On Monday morning, new General Manager Bruce Allen fired Jim Zorn after a 4-12 season. Zorn was coach of the Redskins for the last two years with a great start his first season, but the 2nd half of 2008 season and all of 2009 season the team struggled to win games. He was hired by owner Dan Snyder back in January 2008 as a offensive coordinator but later was named the team’s head coach.
Now the team has hired former Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan as the 28th head coach of the Washington Redskins. Mike will be seventh head coach hired by Snyder since he bought the team in 1999.

Quarterbacks Injury Recovery Slow

10/20/2008:
The New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on October 6 had surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL. A follow on surgery was performed this week becuase of some infection had developed. Brady who had a great 2007 season by throwing a single season record 50 touchdowns suffered torn ACL and MCL in the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 7.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo hurt his little finger during the overtime against Arizona on Oct. 12 will be out till mid November. Romo will miss the Sunday game at Tampa Bay and the following week at the rival New York Giants and hopes to return after a bye week against Washington on Nov. 16.
